SURVIVAL - HIGH TECH SAFETY NET

What if you, or someone in your party, becomes seriously ill or injured?  There could be a freak blizzard or avalanche.  Your two-way radio is severely limited in range, and requires someone to be listening on the channel. And do not be foolish enough to expect your cellular phone to work !   There is a technology that has saved thousands of lives worldwide in military, maritime and aviation emergencies. It is the satellite-aided emergency locator beacon.  In aviation, it's known as an ELT or Emergency Locator Transmitter; in marine use, the EPIRB, or Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon.  It Gets Help Fast.

Casanova's Makes This Technology Available To People - Consumers & Professionals.

Casanova's Now Is Able To Make This Proven Technology Available To Consumers And Professionals Through The Recent Approval By The FCC!  For nearly a decade now, an advanced type of ELT or EPIRB - 406 MHz transmitters - has been available to ships and aircraft.  The 406 transmitters send a coded signal that uniquely identifies each transmitter.  Rescuers know exactly who and what to look for within minutes!

Recently, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved 406 MHz transmitters for land-based activities.  Casanova's is Ready With The World's Leading Equipment; ACR Electronics' Personal Locator Beacons (PLB).  The same quality devices that has made ACR the world leader in safety and survival technologies will be available to protect you outdoors.

When activated, the Personal Locator Beacon, sends your unique rescue signal to one of seven satellites that continually circle the globe.  This signal is then relayed to a ground station so search and rescue personnel can be notified.  In less than an hour, aid can be on its way.  After several passes, the satellite pinpoints the PLB's location to within a 2.5 miles.  Interface a GPS receiver to the GyPSI PLB, and your precise position is sent immediately!

The GyPSI 406™ Personal Locator Beacon weighs just 17 ounces.  Compact to pack or carry.  It can continuously transmit both your coded signal, as well as a homing signal, for over 24 hours.  The rugged case is completely water-proof and it floats.
