PERSONAL
There Have Been Many Bad Dive Computers
On The Market That Have Come And Gone
(Unfortunately We Got Treated Bad And
Wasted Money On A OCEANIC Computer!).
A Generic Model Dive Computer Is
Something Like Diving With A Digital
Dive Table; So Why Bother, Save Your
Money And Dive With A Dive Table!
The Market Is Filled With Bad And Very
Dangerous "Used" And "New" Dive
Computers. Many Can Cause A Sense
Of False Security; Causing The Diver To
Not Pay Attention To The Risks And Their
Personal Dive Health Profile!
Suunto's Advanced Approach To Personal
Instrumentation Is Well Know Around The
World, And They Bring Advanced Thinking
To Diving. There Are Personal
Factors That Can Affect Your Personal
Susceptibility To DCI, Which You Can
Predict In Advance, And Input Into The
Decompression Model Of The D4.
Such Factors Vary Between Divers And
Also For The Same Diver From One Day To
The Next!
A Easy 'Three-Step Personal Adjustment'
Is Made Available. For Very
Experienced Divers, A Two-Step
Adjustment For RGBM Effect On Repetitive
Dives Is Available.
Personal Factors Which Tend To Increase
The Possibility Of DCI Include, But Are
Not Limited To:
? COLD Exposure - water temperature less
than 20 ?C/68 ?F

The system activates automatically when

However, it is necessary to activate the
DIVE mode BEFORE diving to check the
altitude and personal adjustment
settings, battery condition, oxygen
settings etc.
Graphic Surface-Time Indicators
Flying or traveling to a higher altitude should be avoided at any time when the computer is counting down the personal no-fly time. The no-fly time is always at least 12 hours, or equivalent to "desaturation" time, if longer than 12 hours. Suunto recommends that flying (Higher Altitude) is avoided until all the DAN and UHMS guidelines, as well as the personal dive computer?s no-fly conditions, are satisfied.
